The all new GapGun3™, released in October
2004 has seen unprecedented adoption rates, with a raft of new
orders received from across both automotive and aerospace industries.
The new ruggedised handle, 240 x 320 colour touch screen,
full colour operating instructions using digital photos, images
and CAD geometry together with enhanced software has given the
GapGun3™ even more capability and appeal. Now available with
wireless LAN communications GapGun3™ can be used for up to 6
hours free to roam within 50M of the controller.
Predominantly aimed at the Automotive and Aerospace industries,
GapGun3™ provides the best solution for repeatable non touch laser measurement, delivering excellent value for money
coupled with ease of use.
Promoted for the first time at Inspex 2004, the new capabilities
of GapGun3™ opened up new application areas which can bring
benefit down the supply chain. The flexibility of GapGun3™
enables many different measurement tasks to be performed quickly
and accurately with one tool, doing away with costly bespoke
gauges, fixtures and measurement devices. With no moving parts
GapGun3™ performs consistently throughout many working
environment and unlike most measurement devices, does not need
frequent calibration.
