Automotive final assembly
One of the most important GapGun applications is measurement for automotive final assembly. Each vehicle on the production line is typically checked for gap and flushness at between 20-100 measurement points. Results will be fed directly into the corporate SPC (Statistical Process Control) database in order to allow continuous improvement of the production process.
