Job Title: HR Manager
Hours: Part time (20 hours per week)
Location: Bristol, BS34 7PZ
Salary: up to £56,000 per annum pro rata plus generous benefits package
Contract Type: 12 months fixed term contract – from Feb 2020

Are you at your best managing all aspects of HR and recruitment, ensuring continued business growth and that the businesses you support meet their business objectives? The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and capable of managing multiple internal improvement projects from GDPR through to resource planning. You will also recognise the fluid and flexible requirements of a small but growing business.

In this exciting role covering maternity leave, you would be reporting to the CEO as sole HR point of contact. You will deliver effective, proactive and flexible HR services to the business, by providing relevant and appropriate HR support to employees whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedure and employment legislation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated interim HR professional with a solid understanding of employment law and process creation to make a real difference to a small but growing team. You will support our line managers in becoming the finest people managers, you will review our policies and procedures to ensure their ongoing fitness and you will own and drive our people agenda with support from our leadership team. What skills and experience will you bring to Third Dimension?
• Experience of improving / overseeing HR across a business
• Able to advise, support and coach the leadership team and managers to provide an HR service which supports employee recruitment, retention, training and professional development
• Support the implementation of the HR strategy with the Chief Executive
• Drive alignment between the HR strategy and business objectives
• Manage the administration of the full employee life cycle
• Manage recruitment and selection strategies and support departmental managers
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation
• Exceptionally organised with the ability to prioritise and meet/manage deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to challenge appropriately, influence in the right way and have commercial business acumen
• Live in/close to or relocate to Bristol, UK
• CIPD level 7 or equivalent

You will support the development of products from concept to implementation, provide specialist support and technical guidance across a range of projects, and help develop a team of technical experts. Qualifications and experience:
• Team and programme management
• Strong software engineering background with a good knowledge of related technologies
• A self-starter, able to perform to deadlines in an autonomous and team environment
• Professional qualifications in Science/Engineering/Mathematics
• Extensive commercial C++ application and C# .NET desktop development experience
• Algorithms/mathematical experience and able to write clear, maintainable code
• Strong interest and enthusiasm for engineering or technology

• Windows installers (Wix)
• Exposure to image processing, metrology software or robotics
• Embedded software development
• Aerospace or automotive experience
• Metrology
• Robotics
